Tarnatos
Hello,a fully automaticly auto update function would be nice in further versions. So users doesn't need to use the "help" menu.

Molen
Didn't think a program could get simpler to upgrade than utorrent. For me a window pops up saying new version exist and asks if I want to upgrade(or something like that). Klick "yes", it restarts and it's done. Ph03n1x
Hi, I know this is an old topic but I just thought of a couple of cool ways to improve the update mechanism: i) Have a channel selector preference similar to firefox, so that power users could choose to auto-upgrade to Alphas, Betas, RCs or Stable releases etc.ii) Including 'changelog/whats new' details about the update in the upgrade dialog.I would love to see these features implemented. p.s. Keep up the amazing work

ColdArmor
1. Check for updated automatically2. Click Yes3. µTorrent restarts ON IT'S OWNhow can it get easier than that?
Ph03n1x
I agree, the upgrade process is very easy and shouldn't change for a normal user, however it would be nice to see a feature where we could be automatically notified of new betas as well as stable releases... chaosblade
It would be pretty bad to announce beta versions to your "avg. joe" users.
hofshi
I agree with chaosblade. this could cause trouble and clutter in the forums

Ph03n1x
I guess its a no-go then I agree stable releases (only) should be checked for by default, but a user preference in advanced options would be nice way satisfy (some of) us lazy power users. p.s. Thanks Firon, I should have searched for that!
