xyqxyq
In Azureus there was an option named something like "Prioritize first and last pieces of download." When this was checked, Azureus created the entire file as soon as you start your download. As in, if I started downloading a torrent containing a folder of 10 GB of movies, Azureus would create a 10 GB folder right at the beginning. Each movie file would be at it's final size from start to finish. Of course, they'd be empty files, and even looking at them wrong makes Windows give an error message. But the point is that it would cut down DRASTICALLY on data fragmentation. Is there any option/method to do something similar to the process I described in µTorrent? And should this be in "Feature Requests?"
DreadWingKnight
uTorrent preallocates by default. There is no need for such a function.
