Protocol Encryption

Does Protocol Encryption slow down downloads at all or does it have no effect on bittorrent speeds?

Also, does protocol encryption give you more security in a way because your ISP cannot tell that the traffic is coming from bittorrent?

Um... these have been answered many times already... Having Protocol Encryption set to Enabled gives you the largest pool of peers to select from, so you may be able to find faster peers who are forcing encrypted connections, for example. It does not slow anything down.

And yeah, it prevents most ISPs from identifying the traffic, but it doesn't make it more "secure" in any other sense.
