Ultima Posted August 27, 2006 Report Share Posted August 27, 2006 Meh I wouldn't say this webpage itself is an actual indication that Microsoft is interested in BitTorrent (though they probably are). Just like Avalanche, Singularity, or a bunch of other things coming from Microsoft employees, it's an employee research project at best, not necessarily indicative of Microsoft's interests/intentions. dandar3 Posted August 28, 2006 Author Report Share Posted August 28, 2006 That is right, it's just an internal research project, but at least they gave it a go, most probably to investigate whether is worth to implement it (or a form of it) in MS applications for certain purposes (probably large content delivery).
