infirmus
Is the webui traffic limited by the up/download limits set in uTorrent? It seems that way.. Webui performance is sluggish when the upload/download limits are being reached by torrents.
Determination
WebUI traffic uses bandwidth like anything else. If your connection is maxed, WebUI is going to be negatively effected.

infirmus
So if say I can upload at a maximum of 25 KB/s and i set the limit in uTorrent to be 22 KB/s that should leave 3 KB/s for the webUI to use?
Determination
more like you leave 3KB/s for everything else to use. If you are anywhere near your maximum upload rate, you will experience lag problems. For that reason, it recommended that you place any caps at 80% your tested speed. This compensates for overheads. If you are going to actively using your connection (for HTTP or other bandwidth usages) you need to set your cap lower. I don't know how much bandwidth the WebUI uses personally, but I haven't ran into any problems with my µTorrent capped at 80% of tested.
