UTorrentUser
Hmm... IS it needed??? We can serch from our browsers and I reelaly don't think the exra code or GUI space is well used with a serch box.
vurlix
It's not needed. You can disable it by removing clearing the search engines box in the "Other Options" dialog

ww2
I suggest including a check box in Preferences, so one can enable/disable the search function trough it (or at least something explaining that clearing the search engines box does the trick). v0ice
I'm really confused now. You guys cry when some people want to impliment an ipfilter(security based), but yet you add a search feature(lazyness based)? I think you need to get your priorities set. Why can't you just add it and have it on and off like all these other features that would fall in the "bloat" category just like the ipfilter does.-v0ice
r00ted
Many people dont want a drop down menu, that spans 50 pages...which is why utorrent won't come with any pre-configured search engines I think Well, maybe the basics....
Ultima
@v0ice: There really isn't anything to complain with (at least ipfilter wise), since it's already been implemented. As for the search feature... well, I personally find it useless, but oh well...On another note... I find it odd that the devs preconfigured (yes, preconfigured, r00ted =P) sites that explicitly host copywritten torrents =
MaV
The search box is really a good feature, especially that you can specify sites. Thumbs up for this!

spun2u
I like this feature.Use the following to add U2Torrents.com to your search feature:U2Torrents.com|http://u2torrents.com/torrents-browse.php?search= I'd love to be able to offer up a custom u2torrent (with u2torrents.com already included in the search function) uTorrent program for users of U2T. ;-)
paritybit
I like this feature but the problem is that it turns uTorrent from a legitimate bt client to a warez client. The default sites in the search box make uTorrent a non-legit client and therefore may make itself a target for law enforcment.
