How to associate with .torrent files?

I cannot open a torrent file from a tracker (oink). I receive an unknown download error when clicking on the link to begin d/l. It's acting as if I do not have a bit torrent client. In preferences under windows intergration I cannot click on "associate with .torrent files". How can I fix this problem? Thanks in Advance.

"Make sure the "Associate with .torrent files" button is greyed out in the General section of the options. If it is and Firefox gives you weird errors when opening the .torrent or opens another client, click (within Firefox) Tools -> Options -> Downloads -> View & Edit Actions, remove TORRENT from the list and hit OK."

I did this and I am still having the same problem.

The rest of the directions were for explorer. Once I removed "TORRENT" from that list there was nothing else I could do.

I tried to right click on the the file and did not have the option of opening with utorrent or any other program.

After all this, I tried to associate with .torrent files again and it is still grayed out.
