feertje22
Hi,I use Utorrent for a while now but 1.6 gives me two problems. It uses up to 30-40% of my cpu (pentium 4 - 3,0 MHz) witch i think is a lot.It is using all my memory. If i look in windows taskbar i see that memory-use of utorrent builds up until it is running out of even virtuall memory. (512 memory and virtual up to 1300 ) The result....pc is shutting down.Who kows how to avoid this? Thanks a lot

Ultima
McAfee is not very reliable, has been known to cause issues with µTorrent, and is suspected to cause yet another problem with µTorrent =TTry Kaspersky AntiVirus, Sysinternal's RootKitFinder, and some antispyware software (Microsoft Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy, etc). Ultima
Hm... Try this... Start > Run > devmgmt.mscIDE ATA/ATAPI controllers- Primary IDE Channel- Secondary IDE ChannelCheck the Advanced Settings tab in properties for both channels, and make sure Current Transfer mode is not PIO in Device 0 and Device 1 for either channels. If it isn't already set, select Transfer Mode to be "DMA if available." Restart your computer afterwards, I guess.
