deadcatbounce
1.6 (build 474) - every morning before work i see my downstream at sub 20kbs, but if i restart utorrent it kicks back up to 60kbs+. this condition occours at any time of the day or night. im not expecting constant 400kbs but if you look at the speed chart set to 5 min ticks you can see a gentle bell curve to near nil activity either up or down. as stated before restarting the app completly fixes it but is there a better way?? deadcatbounce
yes with the exception of the bit about port forwarding...roadrunner tech support said they do not use static adresses for thier DNS so i left UPnp enabled
Ultima
They're talking about static WAN IP. The guide talks about staic LAN IP, which has nothing to do with your ISP. Just follow the directions and do the port forwarding. You limited your upload speed properly, right?

Ultima
What does the speed tester say your upload speed is? And test while not running any other internet-related application (including applications on any other computer on the network) while testing. Post the results exactly as they appear. Ultima
Select xx/384k in the Speed Guide -- leaving the upload limit at 46KiB/s is choking your connection. xx/384k will set it to 35KiB/s, which should be enough.
