Ultima Posted October 1, 2006 Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 Ugh... what to do... I'm not sure if it's relevant, but ACE Mega CoDeC pack has been known to cause plenty of system instabilities. If you're up for it, you can try uninstalling it (though I'm not even sure how well the uninstaller works for it).Anyway, if it doesn't help, or you didn't bother doing it, can you post a HijackThis! log...? I'm almost out of ideas here, so can you double-check with the incompatible softwares list in the FAQ to be sure you have nothing listed there that didn't show up in that log you posted earlier? For one, the applications coming from that corporation themselves cause issues with µTorrent, but beyond that, its virus detection rate is really bad, so we can't be sure if it's undetected malware on your computer. Switeck Posted October 2, 2006 Report Share Posted October 2, 2006 When you have 2 or more torrents going at once, check the torrents to see how fast you're uploading to each ip.Do note that only the "U" flagged ips are ACTIVELY being uploaded to. The little "u" flag just means they want you to upload to them, and just after uploading to them your upload speed to them dies slowly down to 0 instead of instantly...giving the illusion of slow speeds.(you already probably know this but others who read the post may not:)Splitting your upload speed into very small chunks inside a torrent (like 10+ upload slots per torrent) is really bad when trying to initially seed a torrent. Alot of the peers/downloaders could be grabbing the same parts from you so you have to upload more to get 1 virtual copy out, plus EACH piece takes longer to get out. Only whole pieces can be shared by the peers. If they each have 99% of 10 different pieces, they still have nothing to share. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
