Reporting of FAT32 File Size Limitation [Build 474]

FAT32 file systems are limited to a 4GB maximum file size. uTorrent will continue saving to the file until it reached the 4GB limit; then it will tell the user that the "drive is out of disk space" - even if there is plenty of free space.

It would be better if uTorrent told the user that a file system-imposed limit has been reached and that it can be continued if the partition is converted to NTFS. Indeed, it might be helpful if uTorrent warns upon starting any file in excess of 4GB, that a file size limit will be reached.

It's not a really important bug, but it could be confusing.

uT doesnt need to rely on the call though surely DreadWingKnight. Im not a coder myself, but i would hope Ludde has the tools necessary to make utorrent determine whether the target drive is FAT32 or NTFS, and if it is FAT32 and utorrent sees a file bigger than 4gb, then uTorrent displays a warning that things are gonna go wrong!
