Cha0tika Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 Hi everybody, I've been using uT for a while now and everything works to a bearable degree, until recently. I formatted to Windows Vista and now I never get anything but a red light and no other torrenting software downloads fast either. From what I read a while back the code for networking was completely rewritten, so I guess that has something to do with it.I'm on a LinkSys BEFSR81 with Firmware Version: 2.51.1I don't have any firewall software (none is compatible with Vista; I can handle it ^^ and only one AV, Trend Micro PC-Cillin. I've forwarded the ports but on portforward it still says it is blocked.Any help with my problem would be appreciated Thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ultima Posted September 17, 2006 Report Share Posted September 17, 2006 I'm not saying it doesn't run on Vista -- other people have had success -- but I'm just saying that we don't do help with Vista because it has never been officially tested on Vista, and so there are no guarantees, and a lot of us aren't even using Vista, so we can't help with it anyway. I hope something can get worked out soon, I can get (extremely slow) downloads but nowhere near fast enough to actually change the percentage of some of my donwloads.
