soulreaver
hey!I'm running µTorrent on Windows Server and i tried to access the WebGUI via Firefox 2.0 from a Windows PC. I just get a blank page, if i use the hint from the readme, i just get plain text as output ( {"":""} ) instead of html, the same with IE 6.0 ( i know IE sucks but i just wanted to try ).so if you guys have a good guess let me know
Ultima
You probably didn't place webui.zip in the correct location according to how the readme suggests you should.
SpookyET
We need SSL support for the obvious reason.

Blade
Would it be possible to remove the login saying "uTorrent" just don't want people to know i'm running uTorrent web thing also would it be possible to change the /gui to something of my choice? Maybe make both of them a option.Could you change icon of the upload and/or finished download two little green circles is not very easy to quickly view which are download and which are finished.Great web interface better then anything i've seen! Ultima
Yep, µTorrent sometimes gets confused, so you simply have to disable/re-enable Protocol Encryption when you see that kind of behavior.
elec999
How can I access the webui from the internet. Do I need to forward the webui port I have used In my case 1090, Do I need tcp or udp mode. Thanks
mark105
yeh forward your port and tcp or if your like me and use upnp then you dont need to do anything just use default port and utorrent will map it for you in upnp and away you go. BladeD
I got this to run on localhost, but now the real deal is timing out. BTW, I couldn't connect when my laptop was using the same external IP as my desktop.
Ultima
Port forwarded and all? If so, then your router or modem is probably blocking loopback connections to itself.
BladeD
Thanks, but now, remotely, that shouldn't be causing the timeouts...should it?

HeeZy01
i just wanted to say, after i tried eveything mentioned in this thread, all i get is a blank screen in Opera. all the files are in the right place, but i finally figured out that my ipfilter.dat was blocking my localhost and my IP that my router gives me. with opening the ipfilter.dat and editing it with utorrent shut down, fixes everything. so far webui looks great!!! Ultima
You don't happen to be using AdMuncher, do you? Have you tried from another computer outside of your network (maybe a friend's computer or something)?
BladeD
I am not on my network now...hundreds of miles away in fact...when I am getting the timeouts. Is WebUI suppose to work with dialup?
Ultima
Using it with dialup can easily choke the connection, so even though there isn't a specific connection type that it's supposed to work with, I certainly wouldn't suggest that any dial-up user use it. Ultima
Do you have Javascript enabled? What does the logger tab in µTorrent say when you load webui using Opera?
