Is it possible to cheat a tracker about your ratio?

I have read a blog yesterday that says that you can cheat a tracker (using uTorrent) so he thinks that you have uploaded more than you actualy have.

I've heard of posters complaining private trackers aren't registering what they've uploaded...so that's cheating I guess too. Is that what you want to know how to do?

there are actually too many ways to cheat your ratio and also not being caught, thats why some people hate private trackers as they are useless at what they are supposed to do

No. I don't want to cheat to any tracker.

I always upload my torrents at least up to 150%.

I don't want to chaet anyone.

So to answer the question, YES it is possible. My advise, don't try it on private BitTorrent trackers if you don't want to be ban! In fact don't think about trying it at all.

Using the method AgentWolf posted no it is not possible to cheat a tracker. So there is nothing for ludde to fix.

As for the method torrenteer posted, you're an idiot. You saw the first post was edited for links like that, so why did u go post another one. jeez

Nefarious said it.. u can easily cheat a tracker.. that answers the topic's question.. utorrent doesnt cheat! that doesnt mean that no one cant make it look like it's cheating or cheat..

i've cheated too (not intentionally..) it just happened telling any specifics perhaps will be against the rules.. anyways, anyone knowing how the bittorrent system works can guess how that could happen..
