toepk
When my downloads reach ~6-7 MB/s the status bar keeps saying disk overloaded and it pretty much never gets above at that speed. I've tried changing the disk cache to 32, 64 and 256 but there's no notable difference. Using ftp, dc, http downloads or any speedtest I easilly get to 10 MB/s, so I can only assume it's a problem with uTorrent. Would love any help or tips on what to do.Best regards, toepk. TheBear
How much RAM do you have in your system?
Firon
FTP, DC and HTTP are all SEQUENTIAL. Torrents are random, and HDDs suck with random r/w.http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/1193/gbitcacheng6.png

Ultima
Not necessarily, a bunch of people have 100mbit connections and such.
jmmtn4aj
Yeah, but the upload speeds of the peer/seeds? I highly doubt any router or modem would be able to connect to that big enough a number of seeds/peers at say, 5kb/s each, and be able to maintain that speed o.o
