amonkus
Greetings,So I've been trying to find some more detailed information as to why a torrent stops when it is showing seeds as 0 (2). I understand that this means 2 seeds in the swarm but I can't understand why I can't get connected to these seeds if they connected to the torrent. Why can't I connect to them and is there anyway to manually connect to these seeds? I don't understand the usefulness of displaying them if I'm never gonna be able to make a connection.TIAMonk
Determination
just because you can "see" the seeds in the swarm, doesn't mean that they are connectable. They may be firewalled, have all their upload slots filled, etc. Patience is required in situations like this.

Ultima
You can't download and be a seed. You can download and upload, but not download and seed. BitTorrent already works like that, and if the client isn't doing that, then it's broken badly (i.e. BitComet's horrid upload slot management). Switeck
If you're firewalled, things look a LOT worse than they really are.
