dbuske
I would start it up and 5 minutes later it would cut off the internet. It would still be uploading and downloading, but I couldn't connect to the internet to surf.
MrTufty
Have you limited your upload to 80% of your maximum? I know that mine sometimes slows down, almost to point of unusability, if I have it set too high.
NiteShdw
The best thing to do is open up a Command Prompt and run the command "PING google.com".Try starting your Upload Speed to UNLIMITED. What to see where it seems to max out. Let's say its around 28KB/s. Try putting your max upload speed to 20kb/s. Then run PING google.com again. Keep reducing your upload speed until your PING to google is under 100-150ms.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESystemCurrentControlSetServicesVxDMSTCP Create a new "String" in this registry folder.. Call it: MaxConnectionsSet its value to 1024When you reboot your computer there will be more network slots available..

Initially when I started using BitTorrent, my Netgear router's SPI firewall thought the peers connecting to me were attacking as part of a DDoS attack, so disable that if you have the option to do so.
