Disk error probs...

hi,

am downloadin a file of around 4.5 gigs, have already downloaded about 50% of it, now whenever i restart the download, utorrent gives the error that :

Error: The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable.

can u help me out???? my file system is NTFS

...? Are you sure your disk structure... isn't corrupt and unreadable...?

Have you done a recent disk scan (Scandisk/checkdisk/whatever) on the affected drive/s?

Actually this has happened to mine and my brothers computer. I was until recently using bitcomet 0.60 and the day after the switch to utorrent the problem occurred.

Both mine and my brothers computer setup is pretty similar with the same motheboards and cpus and we both use a windows with windows xp pro with sp2. And as the person above mentioned the problem of this message occurs when larger files over 4 gigs are being downloaded. Scandisk is then started after a reboot and rebuilds the NTFS "journal" or something...
