Dead-Jester
how can i download that lord of the rings (5.5 GB) game like this !!!I wouldn't be asking those kind of questions here. Especially when at the top of this page it says This forum is NOT for help with videos, games, movies, or anything you've downloaded! Posting about any illegal sharing of copyrighted content is strictly FORBIDDEN.But as to your upload (seeding) question, the uploading is built into the program, you can't turn it off. You can, however, lower the number of connections that are allowed to connect to you in the preferences.
Invy
I've noticed if you upload at higher speeds then you can get faster download speeds on some trackers. Only one some i've noticed it though.
Switeck
Your download speed depends heavily on others generosity. If there's LOTS of seeds, you don't have to do much to get massive download speeds. If there's few/NO seeds, you have to upload quickly to people so they are willing to upload back to you. Fastest uploader to a person generally gets the lion's share of THEIR upload in return. This means keep your upload speed PER upload slot high. At least 1 KB/sec per upload slot is needed just to technically meet BitTorrent Protocol...but 3-10 KB/sec per upload slot is much better, and yields better results. Ultima
@firas_new1: If you find it stupid to upload while downloading, then don't use P2P software.
