FAM-g Posted October 1, 2006 Report Share Posted October 1, 2006 This started about a week ago, everything was fine i was getting the GREEN Icon and next time i started up it stayed yellow and my DL was going slow and the yellow icon appeared... The only firewall i have is windows but everything it set how it should be.. I've read almost eveything there is to be read on this matter but no matter what i do it wont change to green... Did you use the port checker in the Speed Guide to determine your port forwarding state? If it really is not forwarded properly, make sure you set up a static LAN IP... FAM-g Posted October 3, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 3, 2006 I recently found out that my windows firewall isn't working properly it wont let me open it or let me change any of settings do you think this could be one of the problems? I've tryed Troubleshooting wondows firewall problem but i haven't found a way to fix it, so you have an idea how please let me know thanks! FAM-g Posted October 3, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 3, 2006 Well even when i try to start it i get this error..."Could not start windows firewall/internet connection sharing (ICS) Service on local computer."Error 1068: the dependency service or group failed to start.So do you think its has something to do with win forewall or something else?
