cardinal4
Is it possible for me to seed torrents which are burnt onto CDs or DVDs? It'll be great if i could. That way i'll save space on my hard drive and at the same time help seed torrents for others.

cardinal4
Oh.... oh yah, the DVD will die under after being read for so long. How about if i load the torrent files into a virtual drive from perhaps a .bin or .iso on the DVD? That way i can seed from the virtual drive and still be able to protect my DVD drive? =0Edit: Oops, actually ... no. Loading .iso from DVD onto virtual drives still needs the DVD for reading. Copying or extracting the .iso onto harddrive still needs reading the DVD and takes time. I guess there's no way for a guy to keep seeding torrents forever then? Haiz, at a point, hard drive space will run out and the torrent will have to go onto DVD for safe keeping...
Switeck
If you have an absolutely HUGE amount of ram...just seed from a ramdrive.
DreadWingKnight
Seeding from an ISO mounted in a virtual drive would be fine. The problem with seeding from a DVD or CD directly is the random seeks.
