HyperD Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Hello. Here's my scenario. At work's office we have 4 computers making a LAN, those computers are connected to a red hat linux server (in the same room as the other computers) which is connected to the network of the whole building (i don't know if it's the network or just the proxy that we are connected to) allowing us to have access to the Internet. The problem i have is that i can connect to the tracker (tracker status says "working") but i can't connect to any seed so, i can't download or upload. After almost a minute, tracker status says "not connectable, read the faqs for details" (this is the torrent-damage tracker).Torrent-damage faq says that i might need to forward the listening port on the router or maybe computers in the network are NATed. I have no idea how to do this and i even don't know if we have a router at all (i think there's one "big" switch but i don't know if it's just a switch or it's also a router).Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Switeck Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Your internet connection may be through a proxy, in which case there's not much you can do.
