relix Posted October 9, 2006 Report Share Posted October 9, 2006 HeyWhen i try to download some stuff, it appears that it's going to take 30minutes or so for it to be complete but then when its around 90% to 99% it shows that it will take like 2weeks to complete, and this has happend for 4 of the files. Switeck Posted October 10, 2006 Report Share Posted October 10, 2006 If there's not alot of seeds on a torrent, as you get to 100% fewer and fewer peers have pieces that you need.So fewer and fewer are uploading to you, and your download speeds drop.Very new and very old torrents are notorious for this problem.Check the torrent's availability. A 'healthy' torrent has availability that's considerably greater than the sum of all the seeds found. For instance a torrent that you connect to 4 seeds and 40 peers, if it's healthy its availability would be 10+. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
