Jonny202003
Im not sure why but what ever i do i cant seem to forward the port to utorrent.I go to my router(2wire) configuration and forward the port for utorrent, restart my router and computer then i go to check utorrent still no green light and the port tester in utorrent says the port isnt opened. Any ideas on how to fix it? My windows firewall is off and i dont have any antivirus software running.

Ultima
How exactly did you forward your ports? Did you make a rule and add it to the rules list for your computer?

Ultima
The application definition is the rule I was talking about. It's a firewall rule to allow connections through a port to be forwarded to the specified computer. Anyhow, your computer was selected in the dropdown list, and the custom application's rule ADDED to the list on the right, right?
Jonny202003
ahahahah stupid me, it was a weird thing that was preventing it. what happened was that i reformatted a while ago and on my 2wire it had the computer name on there twice, so what i did was forward the port to the duplicate name and it worked! Thanks for your help anyway.
