johnnyc
Reset bans: reset's the torrent engine's banning of other peers. If peers send you garbage/are labeled crappy by utorrent, it 'bans' them -- meaning that it won't dl anymore from that peer. This resets that list.Clear peer list: not 100% sure, but assume that this means that it clears the active list of peers in utorrent's array of peers for that torrent, and then dl's new ones from the tracker/dht. This is probably for wierd situations where you have stagnant peers on your torrent.Add peer: haven't seen this option, but again, I assume that it allows you to manually add a peer to your torrent (one that the tracker/dht hasn't let you know about already).Might want to read a BT FAQ to get aquainted with all the terminology:http://www.dessent.net/btfaq/
nickxau
kool bananas! i'm actually pretty familiar with the terms etc, just not sure about those particular functions in μtorrent. If those terms are what u said they are, then u have answered my questions very well thx! btw, the Add Peers... option is found when u right click on any peers in your peer list. johnnyc
Just verified the add peers thing -- that's what it does (manually add a peer by ip/port).Sorry if I sounded condescending in the first post. I'm not too polite until my morning soda
