vonzippa66
Hi..I have a router (DLink DI-704UP) and an ADSL moden/router (Netcomm NB5). The problem is, even if i lock the port and then set port forwarding on both the router, modem and windows firewall. I still get either a message saying that my firewall is blocking my connection or, a no connection message. The main problem with this is my download speed is slow or non existent or, no connection whatsoever. I thought i was reasonably ok at sorting these types of problems but, this one is doing my head in really badly. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Switeck
Antivirus/antispyware apps sometimes have firewalls in them too which might be blocking incoming connections.Even viruses/trojans can create firewalled conditions...such as a keylogger that also monitors web traffic looking for passwords being passed in/out. Ultima
You forwarded from your modem to your router, not from the modem to your computer, right?
