Salmoo
hey everyone i just wanted to ask a quick question. my torrents are downloading really slow, and i dont know why. i port forwarded and everything, i have the green tick, and my DHT is 1 node, but last night i had 9 nodes but still i was downloading 0.1-0.2kbps and if i was lucky i went to 3kbps. i dont know what the problem is, when i first started downloading this file i went at 200 and then it got to 90% done and it slowed down like crazy. so if anyone can help me out with this please do. Switeck
Try first using Protocol Encryption Enabled...then FORCED if that doesn't work.
Ultima
And if you end up having to try Protocol Encryption in forced mode, disable legacy incoming connections as well.

Salmoo
it still didnt do anything, i have like 5 downloads going and only one of them is going at 30, which is fine i dont mind that speed, but the rest dont go over 1.
Switeck
Look also at what your UPLOAD speed is going at.Chances are, the 1 torrent uses up a lot of your upload speed max -- leaving nothing to share with others on the other torrents, so naturally they return little to you. Salmoo
my upload speeds are also slow, not as slow as my downloads but still slow, i have 4 things downloading on one of the , i'm uploading 15kbps, and donwloading 0.4, and the rest i'm uploading low like 3-4 but downloaiding even lower 0.1-0.
Switeck
Have you run Speed Guide (CTRL+G) and made sure you're not overloading your connection? The settings it chooses are based on your max upload speed, not download speed...which is likely MUCH faster! Salmoo
download 2693kbpsupload 335kbpsand the settings: xx/2Mbitalso my seeds are 0....this is what it looks like 0(13549) and my peers 49(12116)
Switeck
You used a setting that is roughly 6 times faster than is rated for your connection! No wonder your download speed suffers!Use the setting that matches your UPLOAD speed, not your download speed! Salmoo
i did, only my upload speed goes up, my download speed stays the same
Salmoo
is it just a problem with the torrents?
Switeck
Don't double-post, just edit your last post if nobody else posts again before you feel the need to add something else. You stated your upload speed was 335kbps, NOT 2 megabits/sec.So you shouldn't be using the 2 megabits/sec upload settings in µTorrent. You should either be using the xx/256k or xx/384k (and reduce the upload speed by 5 KB/sec). Salmoo
what do u mean reduce the speed? i put the setting at 384. and still nothing
Switeck
Ok, you choose the xx/384k setting.Good.Now, exit the speed guide window and go into CONFIGURATION to manually change the settings speed guide chose. On the Connection window, reduce the upload speed max from 35 KB/sec to 30 KB/sec ...and while you're at it, check the alternate upload while not downloading and put in 35 KB/sec for it. Ralph Maskenval
GreetingsI have the same problem also, my torrent is really slow, but the speed mark is in green, the torrent has about 20 different trackers, my port is forwarded, and everything is also fine. However, the download is under 1kbps. If someone could give me a hand with this one, thank you
