joeyramone06
So i downloaded uTorrent at uni and i cant get it to work.. Im OKAY when it comes to computers, im just not sure what it is i have to tweak so that i can get it to work.. I know i had ot set "Use Automatic Script Configuration" in Explorer and use this address: "http://autoproxy.aub.edu.lb/autoproxy.pac".. Also im repeatedly asked for a username and password (the ones i use at uni to log on to a computer or the internet), and ive had to enter those under 'Authentication' when i use MSN or Skype.. I hope this stuff clears some things up about my situation.. any idea what i have to do?Thanks.joe
Ultima
Probably not going to work at all. The university's firewall likely blocks all unauthorized ports like firewalls are supposed to do, and the only way you can open them is if you're a network administrator, or know one who could/would open it for you. Switeck
If µTorrent cannot work through the given proxy, then you're pretty much going to have to seek out another internet connection service to get it to work.
