My download speed is 145.9kb/s upload is 51.6kb/s i am using windows xp sp2 i have read all the speed guide and searched some of the forums and i still can't find anything. Please Help! Ultima
You don't even tell us how fast your internet connection can run in the first place, or whether the port checker in the Speed Guide shows everything to be set up properly. strawberryblast
The Speed guide says that the port is running ok, but i am not sure how fast is my internet speed, i don't know how to check that
Ultima
You should know the speeds for your connection if you really ran the Speed Guide properly...
strawberryblast
i also run the speed test to get 145.9kbps/51.6kbps thats how fast my internet connection runs, if that is what you mean...
Ultima
Yes, that is what I mean. I wasn't sure if those speeds you listed were just from regular web usage. Anyhow, if OpenOffice.org is running fine, there's nothing wrong. BitTorrent does not guarantee speeds, so be it 5KiB/s or 20KiB/s, you're just going to have to bear with it.http://www.utorrent.com/guides.php <-- get yourself familiar with BitTorrent/µTorrent...
