bgmnt
I often restore image of my main partition, but if I'm downloading a torrent I have to backup %AppData%\uTorrent data because %AppData% is on the same drive I'm restoring image! And I dont want to put uTorrent.exe on another partition together in directory with setting files! Is there any way I can tell µTorrent to look somewhere else for settings but not by putting exe and settings in same folder? chupakabra
You can place settings in any directory and create NTFS junction %AppData%\uTorrent pointing at it using this utility:http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Junction.html
TheBear
You could run µTorrent from a USB thumb drive and have the settings stored there as well. You'd always be ready to go then.
