DreadWingKnight
Poisoned torrents is the most likely cause.Do torrents from http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/index.html work fine?
snowmanguy
thanks for the quick response, and no that one wont work either (has 0 seeds 60 peers and no availability).also what is wep and should it be enabled on my router?everything done says seeding and everything not says downloading
DreadWingKnight
If OpenOffice torrents don't work, then you have something blocking peer communication in your setup.OpenOffice torrents are very top-heavy (specifically version 2.0.4 Windows English) and should work immediately. If they don't work, the user's setup is to blame 90% of the time (with most of the remainder being "fucktard ISP")
Ultima
Try enabling Protocol Encryption in Preferences > BitTorrent. If that doesn't help, set it to forced and disable legacy incoming connections.By the way, what ISP are you using?
snowmanguy
yea DWK im kinda sure it IS on my end and thanks ultima! that started the data moving for the first few torents but a few still have the same problem, and my ISP is verizon. by the way i scored a 700/125 on the speed test, do i select the connection type closest to the first #?and i just noticed that under logger it says '[17:48:47] Unable to map UPnP Port.' is that a/the problem?-edit- i have a linksys BEFW11S4 v.4 router and am using windows firewall and cant keep connections regardless of my protocol encryption
Ultima
http://www.utorrent.com/faq.php#What_does_Unable_to_map_UPnP_port_to_mean.3FIf you did indeed forward your ports correctly, just disable UPnP in µTorrent. Select xx/128k in the Speed Guide, and don't mess with the settings. Try the torrent DWK linked to, on its own (with all other torrents stopped).
