count down to port randomiser

For some reason (ISP or Router, not sure which) but my torrents lock up after a few megs are downloaded, the way I found around this is to randomise the port every so often as downloads come down. If a feature could be added to uTorrent to allow the program to do this itself with out my help, I would be very happy.

To solve the problem, firstly when you say "torrents lock up after a few megs are downloaded"...do you mean download speed drops straight to 0 or something else?

Are you also uploading at a reasonable rate PER upload slot so after the initial speed bonuses for starting a new torrent are over other BT clients have ample reason to reward you with more of the torrent?

Are you using DHT, UPnP, Resolve IPs/Show country flags? (any of those can be hard on less robust networking hardware and software.)

What do you have Window's and µTorrent's half-open limits set to? (µTorrent's needs to be considerably less than Window's max.)
