crz_06
An option to have utorrent autostart on windows startup, but instead of doing this in general, specify it by a ruleset. For instance, only use startup option when I have unfinished downloads.
Switeck
What you're really asking for is a shutdown feature.µTorrent would still have to start up to check to see if it has unfinished downloads. It's a little worrisome that you especially mentioned unfinished downloads. Admittedly, that seems more important -- but seeding is what both sustains BitTorrent and also what gives it most of its speed.
Ultima
This has been requested several times before, too.
crz_06
@ Ultima, I searched the topics, couldn't find anything related (wrong search word probably). Any links?@ Switeck, it's not about not sharing. I run utorrent on my desktop PC. I run utorrent every now and then, but don't have it active 24/7. So if a set of downloads are not finished by the time I go to bed, I'd like it utorrent to continiue the next day when I start my PC. And like I said, this could be just one of several rules. Ultima
http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=13530Searching startup in the Feature Request subforum came with results ;oGranted, the request wasn't as "powerful" as what you are suggesting, but someone recently requested a rules-based scheduler, which this feature request can probably fall under as well.
