mash
I've been using Bitcomet before i switch to utorrent, i see some people can download for about 2mbps while i'm stuck at 9kbps ( i have 2 mbps line). I read on some other sites that the modem effects your download when it comes to p2p? right now i'm using D-Link 302G which people said are a crap modem. Can someone confirm about this? If I need to buy a new modem, which one is the best for torrent? Thanks in advance~

If you're not getting a green light, you haven't forwarded your ports properly.
mash
I've done this long ago, but sometimes I still get an unstable download. Sometimes i can get up to 200kbps and sometimes just 9kbps even tho there are many seeders.
Ultima
... Do you have a green light...? If so, try both of these torrents. If they run quickly, the problem lies entirely with the torrent you're trying to download. Seed != Speed.http://distribution.openoffice.org/p2p/index.htmlhttp://www.ubuntu.com/download
