deus
Heya,From what I understand, my global share ratio on a tracker may affect my DL speed.1) For which trackers is that true ? How do I find my ratio in these trackers ?2) As far as I know, I've never registered to a tracker. Does that mean the trackers I use are irrelevant to the above issue ?Thanks. Switeck
Even for trackers that care about share ratios, they can only be aware of your share ratio with THEM.And even then often can only deny/allow you to connect based on that ratio...I am not aware of them being able to throttle you to slow speeds if your ratio is low.On top of that, basically only private trackers do that. Ultima
@deus: Global share ratios do NOT affect speed, regardless of the tracker (assuming they're not blocking you), but if you aren't uploading on a torrent you're connected to, you might find yourself snubbed by other peers since you're less of a priority to them for not sharing.@Switeck: You aren't aware because it isn't possible at all (lol had to say it... even though you obviously know that ).
