mike18xx
While initial-seeding a torrent, I eventually acquired several "BitComet/0700" peers at the tail-end of the list percentage wise (some at zero; all under 1%). They didn't appear to be making any requests for blocks, hadn't received anything from me, didn't have a "Peer ul" speed listed, their percentages weren't increasing (indicating accumulation out of my node) and were in all appearances "stuck". Basically, they were "blank" across all the columns. All of them had different country flags, so I didn't figure they were clones or suffering from a regional ISP problem. And, as fanciful as it may be to imagine it, I doubt that every single peer in the torrent had banned them (especially since they weren't leeching at all). They did put up a pretty good squealing, however, when I blocked them with PeerGuardian -- so they were obviously "alive".Anyone else seen behavior like this, and know what's up? Game90
bitcomet is broken. you wont know if ther are leeching or not, since bitcomet doesnt report true figures to trackers and other peers. my friend once ran a tracker before, and theres a bitcomet peer who reports 87% done. but when i connect to him, it reports to my utorrent that he is at 0%.clearly it doesnt want to share, or it lied to the tracker. mike18xx
Well....In this particular case, I do know if I gave 'em anything (because a block or three will be registered).
