azc
uTorrent running under Windows 95 is ugly because Windows 95 doesn't come with the Tahoma font, which uTorrent is coded to use.Microsoft kindly provide this font as a free download at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/188081 (direct link http://download.microsoft.com/download/office97pro/fonts/1/w95/en-us/tahoma32.exe)Once installed, uTorrent is beautiful again. On a side note, I've also got Firefox 1.5.0.8 running flawlessly under Windows 95. Who says this OS is dead?
Ultima
Yep. Personally, though (and this has been suggested before), it'd be easier if ludde didn't hardcode Tahoma as the font, and instead used Ms Shell Dlg, as it allows Windows to use the default font instead. On old computers, Ms Sans Serif was the default, and if Tahoma isn't installed, it's ugly (as you mentioned).
splintax
I'd just like to add that the same effect can be achieved when running µT under Wine by copying Tahoma.ttf (probably in the .exe linked above, also available from WINDOWS\Fonts\ on any modern Windows install) to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/fonts.
