Switeck Posted November 19, 2006 Report Share Posted November 19, 2006 Zone Alarm is probably in a paranoid mode and blocking "unknown" packets even on the open ports...and only letting "known" packets through on those ports.If you can, flash the modem's bios and try to access its settings then. Switeck Posted November 19, 2006 Report Share Posted November 19, 2006 I mean the modem in DMZ modem, assuming you cannot figure out how to put it in bridged mode.Your router should not be in DMZ mode except as an absolute last resort...and then you SHOULD have a software firewall enabled on your computer and configured correctly.
