stalks
Can anyone tell me why, when there are as many seeds as peers for a particular .torrent, the majority of the downloading seems to come from the peers and not the seeds?
DreadWingKnight
Because you're actively trading pieces with peers.

Lord Alderaan
It means you are sharing the content of the file. torrent is a system of giving and taking. In general you want your taking and giving to be in balance. In general as long as the number in the Ratio column is below 1.00 you should keep 'seeding' and sometimes even longer. splintax
In the meantime, you can use the file that you've downloaded while it's seeding. (Usually.)
