Cadence Posted November 18, 2006 Report Share Posted November 18, 2006 I know it's not supported that well, but I've tried running Utorrent in Debian Sarge under both Cedega and Wine.It seems to always crash when I try to browse for a torrent file. I get prompted for my login, but then I get a blank page.I've got the latest beta and Webui.zip, but I'm not sure where to put the zip file either, as I don't see a SETTINGS.DAT file anywhere. Ultima Posted November 18, 2006 Report Share Posted November 18, 2006 Because Windows environment variables do not apply in alternative operating systems, it naturally follows that %AppData% does not either. You'll find that the µTorrent settings directory is actually located at ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/USERNAME/Applications Data/uTorrent, where USERNAME is your username on the operating system. Maybe you can find a Linux equivalent of stunnel, but that too I'm unsure of whether it works with applications running with Wine on Linux...
