Switeck Posted November 20, 2006 Report Share Posted November 20, 2006 If torrents are overseeded, you could leech from them and still get decent/good download speeds...however that comes at the price of someone else NOT getting decent/good download speeds! On less-than-perfect torrents, trying to download too many at once can cause your TOTAL download speed to drop. So with 2 torrents, you might get 50 KB/sec total download speed (25 KB/sec each)...but with 3 torrents you might get 45 KB/sec (15 KB/sec each)...with 5 torrents you might only get 40 KB/sec (8 KB/sec each).This is assuming you're uploading slower than the download speeds you're getting. Which means someone else (possibly multiple people) is getting slower download speeds than they are uploading. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
