setting up ports for sppedtouch 330 modem (no router)

if you:

start - run - cmd /k ipconfig

and the IP address doesn't start with 192.168 10. or 172.16-172.31 you aren't in a position to even need to port forward.

I almost didn't notice that 10 stuck inconspicuously between 192.16 and 172.16 ;o

ok so i don't need to change my port settings so why doesn't u torrent download anyhting and when it does its like at less than 1k a second? More advice needed please...I am a complete nivice with torrents.....
