chris16940
My media files, when I try to open containing folder, bring up an error message "Windows explorer has encountered a problem and will now close" as a consequence of this I cannot play any of my downloaded media files. Application files open ok. Could this be a fault with Internet Explorer 7, which my daughter has just downloaded and installed? as I did not have this problem before IE7 was installed. IE7 does not appear on my list of installed programmes, so I cannot get rid of it. I have been, and still am using Firefox as my internet browser. Any help and advice on getting rid of IE7 would be appreciated. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Ultima
Welcome Just remember that if/when you reformat, you might need to apply that again.
