Tosh McCaber Posted November 25, 2006 Report Share Posted November 25, 2006 I have downloaded and installed utorrent, and it worked fine for a few weeks. However, when I try to log on now, I get absolutely no download action at all. I have a Belkin Wireless router, and this is my main computer, with WinXP, and Windows Firewall. The firewall has got utorrent ticked as being an exception. I'm a bit of a novice to ports, however, I suspect that the problem lies with utorrent not getting through the firewall or ports somehow. Switeck Posted November 25, 2006 Report Share Posted November 25, 2006 Belkin + wireless routers require more conservative settings than many other routers. The speeds may be left high, but the number of connections, half-open connection rates, and max torrents at once must be reduced considerably.
