jwrbloom
Ok...I screwed something, and I"m hoping I can undo it. I created a torrent of information to share. I'm not sure I did it right, so I deleted it. I choose Remove torrent + data, and now all the songs in the file I had are gone. When I click on the saved torrent within uTorrent, all the songs show up there, but I don't know how to access them. They appear to be contained in this .torrent file. It was over 100 songs.Any idea of how I can restore them to their original location?
schnurlos
1) you have (had) data (your 100 songs)2) you created a torrent (*.torrent, info for all your 100 songs)3) you said: delete torrent+data (delete 2 and 1)So they are gone ...The only thing: have a look in your Windows waste baskin or try some stuff like "undelete.exe" ... jwrbloom
Correct, but I had already looked at Recycle Bin/waste basket. It's not there. It's not that huge of a deal. I can recover it manually, but I just don't want to go through all that ripping and downloading again.Certainly if anyone has any ideas how to extract the information in the *.torrent, I would appreciate it. If it can be done at all. The data is technically still there, just in a form I can't really get to.
DreadWingKnight
The torrent basically can't be used to extract the data.
