lost all torrents

last night my computer apears to have crashed! Woke up restarted it, all seem ok, but when I went to look at utorrent theres nothing in the tray, the files are all still where they were yesterday, in preferences in other I told it to autoload from there as well, and have even tried to turn on the gui.compact direct open but nothing is working ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh please if somebody knows something could you help me, its head wrecking my lphant still works (as does everything bar utorrent) and is downloading merrily

Tell µTorrent to force recheck all the unfinished torrents. You'll need to stop them before doing this.

That might "rediscover" the extra pieces it got before the crash.

If you lost completed torrents, you need to scan your hard drive for physical+logical errors as well.

Thanks switeck, but how do I tell it to force a recheck of all the unfinished torrents? I have tried to find a fucntion like this before and just now but can see it any where? Sorry to be a novice, thanks for you help

the other thing is Im not sure if you realise (if I explained properly) there is nothing in the window, its totally empty utorrent works normally it connects updates 279 nodes but one it has it doesnt download as theres nothing in any of the folders all/downloadinf/completed etc. but its still trying to update the nodes!!!!!! not sure if this makes more sense, less sense or is just random...............
