rec
I have just discovered a potential compatibility issue with uTorrent and VMWare Workstation/Server. Since uTorrent 1.6 was released, I could never get it to work - I had the dreaded Unable to map UPnP port error. However, 1.5 always worked fine. Recently, I installed VMWare Server 1.0, and today I noticed that 1.5 was now giving me the dreaded UPnP map error, so I uninstalled VMWare Server and tada! UPnP started working again. Then, as an experiment, I installed 1.6 and lo and behold, it now works!I am now wondering if my 1.6 problems were down to VMWare Workstation 4.x which I had installed at the time.I don't know enough about VMWare to know why this issue would occur, but there definitely seems to be a problem. I am running WinXP SP2 FWIW.
