downloaderwannabe Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 hey this isnt' anotha of those "why is my download so slow" kind of post but is similar. my prob is that despite my line being at 3500kbps down and 160 up, my utorrent downloads are always at only around 160kbps (20kB/s). i've search hundreds (not an exaggeration...) of webpages on how to boost my download speed and i've done all those suggestions like enabling more connections on XP, capping upload speed, and the works but they've never worked for me. If I had your connection, I would select xx/128k in the Speed Guide and increase the upload limit to around 16KiB/s. And if I had trouble, I'd check the first link in my signature... downloaderwannabe Posted December 13, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 13, 2006 oh alright i tried it n it increased the download by a bit. just wondering y i was able to download at 200kB/s for a while but most of the time im just dlin at 20-30 kB/s?
