SpookyET Posted December 11, 2006 Report Share Posted December 11, 2006 Right now, if you import a huge file, such as a 4.5GiB one I imported yesterday, it will all your RAM. While it is hashing, the computer is unusable. On the other hand it does not use CPU.It is possible for it to use more CPU and a predefined amount of RAM to keep the computer usable.
