Switeck Posted December 15, 2006 Report Share Posted December 15, 2006 What is your upload speed doing?If you're not uploading faster than other peers/leechers, then the seeds+peers are more likely to upload to OTHERS instead of you, so your download speed will not be very good if there's competition and you're not one of the faster uploaders. JudgeJulz Posted December 17, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 17, 2006 i noticed it will go faster if i upload to 50 kb/s, but still nowhere near my connections true potential...my downloadspeed fluctuates between 70 and 120 kb/s where it should be near 300...i also noticed the list of peers uploading to me is small...where i normally get like 50 uploaders now i only get 20, where there are 1 or 2 of 20kb/s and the rest 0.1 to 0.5i have selected 10 upload slots to make more ppl upload to me, is that ok? Switeck Posted December 17, 2006 Report Share Posted December 17, 2006 Actually, the upload slots are to make you upload to more people at once.If you're uploading slowly to people, then they likely won't upload back to you.There is a balance of upload speed versis upload slots, so EACH upload slot gets an average speed of at least 1 KB/sec at absolute minimum and preferably 3-10 KB/sec.
